They seem like very smart critters. Glad we don't have them.

They are very smart. I wish they where not such a nuisance though. Last year we had a brood tear up our back porch. They caused about $300 in damages in about 30 minutes. I watch them breaking my neighbor's house one day through the window in her living room. Now I'm most circumstances I would have prevented that, but that's the same neighbor that was feeding the brood that just wrecked my porch. So I sat there and watched it instead.

Lol! Most of my neighbors have seen me outside screaming at trees. Acting like a ranting and raving lunatic. What most of them have not seen was the hawk perched in it. They'd only have to talk to one or two people around here and it wouldn't be very hard to paint me as a crazy Swamp Man.
