Thats a galah. They are actually probably one of the friendliest birds. And the easiest to teach to speak. Not sure why they call them the idiot chicken... but they do like to chill on the road in big flocks so that may have something to do with it.

Opossums can get pretty big the adults.

Yes my dogs tree a Huge opossum it probably Was the size of a daushound. Teeth showing and drool dripping from it mouth and the nails on it was something some women I am sure would pay for lol. He was playing dead in the tree. Boy he could rip you apart.

We have some here that do that. Those Sandhill cranes. Their color blends in with the road and you can't see them till you get close. I think they're idiots, so i can see where the galah gets the name.

The dogs treed one here not long ago. I would guess it to have been 12+lbs. Nasty teeth.
