Better get some pics of those cuties! Please.
I plan on it. They are so cute!
Looked like a lot of fun. Our dog obedience club use to walk in the Christmas parade in Asheville.
It looked like the parade participants where about 1/2 adoption rescues and half obedience classes. It was pretty fun. Most people who where watching also had very well behaved dogs. There was only one person who was a bit snobby about letting people touch their dog. It happen to be the only Shar Pei in the whole place, so I'd imagine here was getting a lot of requests to stop and play. (I totally stopped him to play with his dog. Beautiful dog and great personality. So yes, I bothered him, and would do it again.)

The Dane and Mastiff owners where the best though. Almost like they expected to get stopped. Who'da thunk that? They had plenty of small children around them and the owners seemed to like it just as much as the children did.

so do u have a youtube channel yet? Wud be interesting to see your day to day life.
No, I've thought about it, but that kind of turns this in to a job. It could be fun, but it could also be actual work. Pretty sure I've got an allergy to that stuff, work. ;)

The birds here are more of my sanctuary. Well most of them. Occasionally one is also my dinner. ;)

Starting seeds for the summer garden, and some baking. Other than that a lazy day.
I'm not sure if I'll be doing much gardening this year. What took me months of work last year to build up, took the quacks and clucks weeks to search and destroy. I'd need to seriously fortify the garden area before trying with these guys running around.

What do you guys think about using bottle rockets to deter Hawks? The thought just passed my mind, and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. In general though I imagine it would be pretty effective to scare them, and awfully difficult to cause any form of damage even if you tried. Anybody have any thoughts on that?

That's probably the one good use for chicken wire :gig But even with 4'wire they still find their way in.
