Don't ever work with children and dogs with giant wet noses. Also, I know Biscuits is on the slimer side, we are working on grain and lamb intolerance that took a long time to work out.

Taking a break for a while. My hands, feet and back are killing me right now. Today has been the great shuffle. The End Orps are now out of their pin, so everything from three livingroom brooder on up is getting bigger living quarters...

I took a length of the 5' chicken wire and folded it down to a 26" x 125" piece. I folded it off center to make the holes smaller, then wrapped it around the quarantine pin, which now houses the 55F & FGCM youngsters. I also added a ramp to their roost since they are are adjust familiar with it.

I've also pressure washed the parrot coop, moved and burried it. I decided to dig a trench under it this time and fill in the bottom few inches to raise the floor level and increase for floor space. With it being round, the square inches with of floor is pretty low. This increases it by about 6x.

The 3 Brahma and 1 Polish wiil use it for sleeping quarters again and just come out dieing the day. I'm not putting food and water in it this time around.

The 4x4 A frame is now housing the Phorks, and d'Uccle chicks. It gives them much more room and gets them on the ground.

I need to take dinne Malay pictures too.

Then it's dinner time which is beyond me in regards to what we're having.

Well, it's that time of year again, officially. I work part time in a feed store (discount, woo) and the first batch of chicks for the year are on their way to us.

Guess who ends up with all the half-dead and dying ones to try to save them?

Aww! I always wondered what happened to ones that were a little off or not doing well after shipping.
