Yes Miss they are. I have 1m/1f Blue Birchen (might be some French blood in them, but their feet are mostly clean) . Then I also have 1m/1f/2? French Golden Cuckoos (feather footed). They are sex linked, but I'm second guessing my original guess. I now think the 2 chicks are pullets.
How are the Ko girls at laying? Are they small? I was suprised by the Malay eggs. They where smaller than I'd expect from such a large bird.YesThe other egg I set at the same time is pipped. There was a third, too, but that's the one I accidentally crushed with the incubator lid.
I need to candle the duck eggs. So far I've only had to remove 1 of the eggs I bought. I paid for 6, recieved 7, and have 6 developing. I'm happy with that.Such a sweet little chick!!
All my duck eggs are still alive and developing! Air cells are getting bigger! I'm pretty impressed since this has been a big learn as I go experience for me! "Lockdown" is due for Friday, I think I'm shooting for 70% humidity through hatch. Hopefully I can get it that high and hold it!
Sully just needs a purple shampoo, will tone down the brassiness (hair dressers advice to me when I went blonde and came out gold)I should add... My Blue Birchen are from GFF and Sully does not have the proper silver coloration. What should be silver is gold. I guess that's very common for their stock. So if the roo pictured in the ad you posted is their legit roo, he has a nice silver color. (I could be wrong and am open to correction)
