As far as I know they are. February was actually quite cool for a change, I think I only used the air con of an afternoon all month, as opposed to feb2019 where it ran soildly the entire month. We have another rain event coming mid week so that will cool us down for sureOh gosh forgot your way ahead of us! All the fires out now? Do hope y’all get some relief from the heat. I have multiple male and female ducks and chickens that live together with no problem. They eat and sleep together just fine.I’ve been thinking of getting some ducks do you know if they react well with hens or if the two can be housed together
I wouldn't think it'd be much different that chickens. Especially if you're not keeping water and food in there. The Shack here doesn't have windows. The roof is not "sealed to the building...." I'm not a builder, not sure how to word it, but there's passive ventilation.Question for all if you duckard keepers. We’re adding windows to the quack shack - aka holes with hardware cloth in them. I found info on how much ventilation a coop should have per chicken, but nothing on ducks. How many square feet of ventilation would you reccomend in a coop per duck? The coop is 4x8.
No, done this week. Got 2 more Silkies now.Chris still hatching ?
