no but as soon it was over I went out my make shiff coop was damage a little every one else is fine I worry about my donkys one is cripple both were in the barn . it was the first time I said a pray .

It sure had to be terrifying. Maybe store up plenty of straw so you can get them into the basement they could all even be separated with straw bales used as fencing. We don’t have a basement in this home and thankfully haven’t ever had a tornado warning our mountains seem to be our protection. Plus prayer goes along way.

Good afternoon everyone! Gorgeous day here. 63 and sunny currently. Might go for a walk in a bit but first I’m going to go check out this new fish store that opened down the street from me a few months ago that I haven’t checked out yet. Had a dentist appointment this morning and another appointment in about 2 hours. Might go vote at some point too. Today is our primary. But it’s been a good day so far. might try to mess around outside as much as possible too.

Okay, it's official. This weekend I go pickup a bantam frizzle Dun Barred Cochin cockerel. I'm exited to see what comes from the matching.

@Tooshay89 so I did a bit of reading about Dun vs Chocolate. Chocolate is a sex linked color gene. Dun however is a dilution gene on black and works the same way blue does. Instead of diluting to a blue color, it dilutes to a chocolate color. Having 2 copies of the Dun gene makes fawn (mauve, khaki, platinum) the same way 2x blue makes splash (paint). Dun is not sex linked.
