Being a north Florida southie I can understand 50 being cold since it doesn’t happen that often. Houses weren’t even built for anything lower than 50 at one time. Probably now they are.

Both pretty looks like they need a lot of work to keep them busy. I wonder how they would do around poultry?

Oh yes, definitely work all day type of dogs! But from what I hear and have seen, great dogs if they get that! Not sure how they’d do with poultry. Would probably be okay with proper training like most dogs.

We keep them away from the birds. They would never intentionally hurt them, but our 3 originals are used in the sheep yards and shearing sheds and their stare is intense! The chickens really don't like them. The new pup's abit more mild and will be a paddock dog so hopefully I'll be able to use him the herd the ducks home of a night!
