I wouldn’t try an wash with water might introduce bacteria. Wait till you hear from the others. I’d def keep it off anything that can stick maybe some antibiotic ointment but wait a bit to hear. I’ve never had one hatch that way.

Woot! Spring is coming!! Yesterday was beautiful!! My spring fever is awful!!

Little swimming monsters are growing overnight!! They went outside for a little while with the big birds! The ducks are scared of them, geese want to attack them, and the chickens could care less. This should be an interesting introduction when it's time!
