Chris, I prefer 1/2" as it's typically a heavier gauge wire. I'm not sure 1/4" could keep a fox at bay.It seems the recommended hardware cloth size is ¹/4", but what are the drawbacks to using ¹/2"? My thought process is none of the predators who have effected me are smaller than ¹/2". Any ideas why I shouldn't use the ¹/2"?

To the best of my knowledge, clean up is continuing. A combination of rentals and hotels for housing. I haven't been to Cookeville since the tornadoes came through, so haven't yet seen it with my own eyes. Lebanon, has some gruesome sites.Thanks Bob you too. Was going to ask with everyone staying at home is work still going on over there with the tornado clean up? And where are all the people staying that lost everything?
