Why can't you let them out? Mine are trapped in coop prison right now and boy are they mad.They are doing okay. The feed bills gone up massively since moving because I can't let them out here. They aren't laying either so that's a pain.

Safety mainly. No ground predators but alot of flight predators. And machinery is stored and used by their run so at risk of becoming pancakes. And then there's the creek within walking distance... plenty of good grub there that they are likely to stay down there and head down stream.
