Yeah baby pigeon... but if you can't get access to a big one... where do you find the babies? Are all of yours naked necks? Do you race/show/other pigeony things with them? They are fascinating

Yep, mine are all naked necks. I have shown them They're also tumblers, so theoretically they tumble, if I wanted to fly them. I just haven't, because they're pretty rare, I don't have a lot, and I don't want to lose any to predators.

I use to have pigeons here, But when we stopped grain farming and the dairy barn burnt most left.

The only pigeons I have left here now are clay pigeons.

Happy Thursday, everyone! Now and again I have to enjoy being a voice from the future, after all.

I had to go to youtube to see what the tumbling did. That's cool.

That's sad that you lost a barn.

It is, it was build in the late 1800’s. When lightning struck it, it burned so fast it was just minutes until it was gone.

I assume a hundred years of hay and dust were almost explosive. It was 15 years ago it went down, but there had not been an animal in it for 20 years before that.

So no real loss except emotionally.

Well, the good news is I caught Norm. The bad news is the club he is tagged with has their number disconnected. They have no fb groups for any of the societies. And unless he was blown severly off course, I can't even find race he was in. Also, people are awful!

I did find a number for my local club and am awaiting a call back.
