Well, the good news is I caught Norm. The bad news is the club he is tagged with has their number disconnected. They have no fb groups for any of the societies. And unless he was blown severly off course, I can't even find race he was in. Also, people are awful!

I did find a number for my local club and am awaiting a call back.

Turna out Norms smart and lucky... finally heard from the local club owner who is going to take him in and hopefully get him home. They release birds about 30km up the road from here and it was described to me as a common feeding frenzy for the perigrines... they often taken refuge in buildings etc and stay there. Apparently alot don't return from being released out here.

Well maybe someone from the local club will want to adopt him. Sounds like he got dumped. Poor Norm he must be so confused.

Good morning folks it is sunny and hot today. went home yesterday and my wally the big African gander hurt his foot. I ck it out while I was grabbling him it started to bleed I soaked it with betadine and warm water got a look at it he has some cuts on the pad on his heel . so had to bring him in to doctor him what a feat. I manage it put Neosporin on it and bandaged it . gosh it felt like forever to get this done . my kitchen had poo al over it he was honking loud that's all I need is my parrot to start honking lol. I fixed the hospital pen up out side with fresh shavings and put wander in there with him one of his girls. he still had the bandage on this am. I will treat him when I get home . do you think the hard ground has cut up his feet. we went from rain and muddy to dry and hard I notice they al bee standing and soaking there feet.
