No it will not :p If I trusted that underlined ALL eggs thing, my emus would be cooked. (I know by 'you' you probably meant WannaBeHillBilly, but you quoted my post so I had to respond, haha.)

My first couple incubators were Styrofoam. I've hatched with them before. They worked if you wanted to monitor the heck out of them and keep them in a room that maintains the same temperature perfectly with no drafts or fluctuations. Or I knew someone that built wooden boxes to fit around the incubators that he could put them into, and that works too if you want to take the time and money.

I quit using them after the incubator cooked some of my eggs after the room temperature went up a little one day and the 'bator spiked to 105. So I invested in a Brinsea and my life was much easier knowing I didn't have to monitor the incubator so closely.

Nowadays I wouldn't go for a Brinsea, though. They're just too pricey compared to the other options that will work fine.

The newer Styrofoam ones might be better, though. I haven't used one in probably seven or eight years now.

Nope an emu egg will not fit. :lau

I didn’t mean to reply to yours but some times what I want and what the IPhone wants are two different things.

I still maintain they will do fine for most eggs.

I have cooked eggs in expensive incubators too. Anything mechanical can fail.

Keys to using foamies is putting somewhere the heat is fairly constant and not in direct sunlight.

Devise a way to add water without opening the lid, easy to do.

Lastly, use an automatic turner.

I pull the turner a couple days before the hatch.

Candled the AK eggs tonight. It's day three and I can often see early life in light shelled eggs like this on day three.

Nothing. I will wait and candle again on day five to be sure, but I'm not optimistic.
I'm sure the reason I only hatch duck eggs is because I can see life at 48hrs. I hope there's a suprise in there, but atleast you could see if any were scrambled
