The coldest temperature i have ever experienced was in December 2009 in Red Deer, Alberta with -40°C/F. Breathing in air that cold was just painful, imagine a permanent brain-freeze.We had 71 below and I don’t recall puddles. Of course, the official temp was only -69 as I recall.
