We had 71 below and I don’t recall puddles. Of course, the official temp was only -69 as I recall. But their thermometer was off.
The coldest temperature i have ever experienced was in December 2009 in Red Deer, Alberta with -40°C/F. Breathing in air that cold was just painful, imagine a permanent brain-freeze.
How does it feel at -71? Can you even breath in such cold air?

It wasn’t as bad as you would think. Actually, once it gets below -20 it all follows the same.

We went out and sat in the hot tub when it was 70 below, it was enjoyable.
