@Pyxis what do you use to brood your ducklings? This is my first time hatching in cooler months, so I can't just pop them outside for half a day from afew days old.

When they're very small, I brood them in plastic storage totes. As they get bigger, I have brooders made from plywood that are two feet wide and four feet long that I use. And once they outgrow those, outside they go!

I use plastic kiddie pools in my kitchen for a weeek , then on the screened porch for three more. I use puppy pee pads for bedding.
I use puppy pee pads too! I need to find something more mouse proof then the cages I normally use. And make the water less splashy. I have a slice tin with holes drilled in top and sit the waterer on top but looking for other options
