Good evening everyone. I had to get a crown done this morning and then I slept off the Novocain the rest of the day, haha.

Apparently my dentist is retiring and the practice is being taken over by a new doctor, who did my stuff today. I really like him. He is not stingy with the numbing, checks in often during the procedure to make sure all is well, and then he even texted me personally this evening to check up on how the temporary crown is feeling.

On the bird front, I have baby pigeons due to hatch tomorrow! This is Rojo and Amarillo's first time, so we'll see how this goes.

So its been awhile since I brought chick starter... I'm having trouble finding a medicated one as it seems ones that "contain natural plant phenols to prevent coccidiosis" have talen over the market

I hate it when they mess with our feed

It boils my potatoes when they switch out something proven to work at preventing and curing for a natural alternative that sounds like it will prevent, when reality is if exposed they probably don't have a leg to stand on. This has allowed afew brands to make a combined chick and duckling starter though it seems. I only have 5 eggs set to hatch next week so I was hoping to grab just one bag of feed. There was more duckling food options than chicks in the petshop I went to. Guess I'll just have local feed store order me some good stuff and find a mouse proof place to store bags in.
