Good Morning/Evening
Since I don't watch lamestream news, were there any severe storms yesterday and last night?
I prayed there wouldn't be.
We had a great deal of thunder, lightning, and wind last night; now it's getting cold so I rather think the storms are over. I wouldn't be surprised if we get snow today. I haven't checked the weather report yet. I do need to get outside and clean up the yard before there is snow.

Calling for snow here over night too. Going from 50's to low 20's then teens for some nights talking about crazy weather. We had 1" of rain along with the storms that came through here. that will help with our drought.
Glad to hear nothing serious as far as weather.

Congrats on the new puppies!

Thank you. We are pleased. It was a hard birth for the first pup and a harrowing 15 minutes trying to get her breathing normally. The boy came fast after mom took an hour break. It took us hours of waiting before we realized the third lump was a merconium (puppy poop) filled placental bag and not a third puppy. Sassy is doing great and now in her very protective mother mode. The girl seems just fine now too. We named the puppies Hanzel and Gretel.

I like the good timezone thing... so good timezone everyone!
I saw the time zone thing this morning and didn't have the slightest... Now... Happy time zone everyone!! I like it too.

Betty Muscovy's nest flooded in the storm last night. When I went out the nest was full of cold water. I fixed the nest, but it's very doubtful the eggs will hatch. Betty went back to brooding and I'll candle the eggs in the morning, but I'm not hopeful. I wish I had some eggs that I could give her.

None of your ducks are laying? mine haven't laid an egg since Oct. this is all 12 of my females. Sorry about the eggs getting cold. Amazing having a Muscovy brooding this time of year.

What gorgeous Calls ❤️
I think their gorgeous; my flock is a rainbow of colors. I haven't found any eggs for a week or so. I've had muscovys nest at all times of year; even when I lived in WI. TN winter is comparable to WI early spring. We got our first snow last night and it will probably be gone by nightfall.
