Thank you for the reply; it is appreciated. Betty's nest was full of water again, so I candled. Unbelievably ten eggs are still alive. I gave her a whole new, dry nest (dog carrier).Vet RX is suppose to be good a drop under each wing and a swipe across the nares. Not a wet where it runs into the nares. It's like vicks but for poultry.
2 tablespoons is acceptable in a gallon of water. I never have used more than 2 Tablespoons.
I hope your little Phoenix feel better.
Maybe others have used something else hopefully they will let you know.
Apparently the dog carrier had a hole in the bottom as it's the only way water could have gotten in. I wish I could have thought better yesterday and realized there had to be a hole. Then the eggs wouldn't have got wet a second time. Betty and her eggs are now in a new carrier. I'll candle again tomorrow to make sure the eggs are still viable.Those Muscovy eggs are like cement maybe that is why. lol
