Evening all.

Today I put aviary netting up over the big run. I really hadn't wanted to do it because netting is a pain and it's a big darn run. But the ravens kept stealing my goose eggs. Just going right in there and taking them out of the nests! That's a lot of money flying away on me, because that's how I pay for the geese feed every year.

So netting went up today. I'm getting pretty good at wrangling the stuff and it actually went super smoothly. So, that's up, and also I can feel better knowing the wild birds can't get in because with AI going around you never know.

Here's an unusual sigh, two parents caring for the young. Smallest mob I've seen so far. Husband counted 44 in a mob on Thursday
