I have gone fishing under Sebastian (my adult male emu) for eggs. The muscovies can do their worst, haha.

Theres a rolling technique to the emus, there is no rolling muscovies. Just pray you come out with all your limbs.

We had a week, now dry again. And its hurricane season.

Yep. Hurricane Fiona (named after my cat). But I think its going up the east coast. Never thought I'd be wanting a hurricane.

She should. Showed up on my front porch as a bag of bones. Wouldn't leave. Decided if I didn't want a dead cat on my porch I better do something. So opened the door, in she came and new family member. She weighed 4 1/2 pounds. Now she weighs 10 and is not at allfat.A $400 vet bill later, she's mine.

What's really awful about It is she was chipped I had the owners contacted three times. They declined to claim her. She's a very good cat.
