Well, that was a pleasant surprise! I came in from catching a rabbit (again) and feeding the flock, shivering and cold (I hadn't put on shoes) to see I had been awarded the FRIEND badge!
After a completely washe out weekend with over 36 hours of non-stop rain, the sun is back out here! - And the Mallard ducks are back, asking to be fed…
Wow Ian stuck around. We have had 3 days of rain and clouds still waiting on the sun. Only one day of rain that amounted to anything that was our inch the others were just light.
Could use some prayers, a raft, or a helicopter over here. Quite the unpredictable rain event heading over my way starting tonight. 3 systems back to back, producing anywhere from 20ml to 200ml which means continued, increased or worse catastrophic flooding. 50ml is normally no big deal but when the ground is already water logged and rivers still high it's abit frieghtening really. I know we will be physically safe, but having already been cut off from town for a week, knowing it could be months, is not great for my anxiety.
