They are hesitant with new things. Eventually someone will try a bite then everybody else will join in.

Sometimes a couple of Mallards are necessary: My ducks hated cracked corn! Even when i mixed cracked corn with pellets, the ate the pellets and spat the corn out. Until the mallards came and went bonkers for cracked corn. Now my ducks devour cracked corn, so that the Mallards can't eat it. Cracked corn is now more valuable than cat-food - except for Blanca Duck who even chewed through the thick paper bag to get to the cat-food…

Well, as said i have stuffed the fresh mustard greens as they were into those one gallon zip-bags and just threw them into the freezer in fall. They are now somewhat brittle now and when i break up a portion for the duck's supper bowl the plants break into little bits and pieces which they eat. I make duck-soup every evening in a square planter: Cat Food, Cracked Corn, BOSS, kitchen scraps, and some extra like Cabbage, Kale, Mustard-greens, cooked rice, pasta or bread. Within the soup the ducks eat almost everything.

When they’re in water, they love the greens for some reason
Weird ducks…
Maybe they’re not as fresh anymore and that’s why
