The Quack Shack

Lovely green grass you have too. What grass we had years ago is long gone and no matter how many times I tried to grow more the chickens said nope they would rather scratch it all up.Congrats on the eggs.

Good Morning and Evening on this cold Monday morning.

Happy Monday to Everybody!

It seems that pulling five heavy tree trunks up the hill to the berry-garden and set them as fence posts was a bit much for my right shoulder. I need to pause today...
Here is the result of my weekend full of work, i started with transplanting a Jostaberry from behind the house (dark and wet spot) to the new berry-garden (wet and bright spot):

Then i worked on the fence, as said i've set five posts this weekend:

What's left is to run some chicken-wire around it at the bottom (to keep the ducks and the wabbits out) and spin some polywire to chase off the deer. The white and black plastic fence-posts mark the spots where i can plant additional berry-shrubs, not sure what to plant there yet.

And i'm almost done with the tomato-trellises, 4 out of 6 are finished, the remaining two have their vertical posts set. - I ran out of wood yesterday…

When i tried to start digging the plant holes for the two Currents that i have, i dropped the spade because my right shoulder protested… 😨
