The Quack Shack

My aunt grew black cherries very sucsessfully. Sour cherries and red are a problem but black seem to be resistant. My uncle was in WWII and she would put his parachute over the tree to keep the birds out.
Any way you could organize a couple of young twigs/branches from those trees? 🤤

We have a mulberry tree that kinda popped up out of nowhere lol
I had two mulberry trees at my house in Houston, one with yellow/white fruits , the other one with dark purple fruits. Idk if they could survive the winters here, but those would be the ideal duck-trees! I ca picture Blanca Duck lying under the tree, sending languid looks up, waiting for some mulberries to fall down… 🤣

I very much wish I could. She had a large peach orchard, raspberry patch, black cherries. Nectarines and plums oh and grapes. When she died her son came in the next week and bulldozed all down. I cried.

Also, Babies!
