I didn't see the one in the first pic, but I was looking in the tree for it.

Are they dangerous towards the birds? Only thing I really know about them is from Rescuers Down Under!

I Would argue they are our most dangerous reptile. There's a reason I am taking pics from inside. If they are hungry they will try munch a chicken or even a cat but what they really love is eggs. thankfully this one didn't discover the nest boxes or I'm sure it'd be back daily

Gosh they do look scary!!! They are so big too. Could they hurt a peacock and are there a lot of them where you live?? Hopefully not.

Had to give up the geese. Yes, the Franconian breed is silent as described but one was constantly chasing ducks away from water and food and persistently pecking at them.

I think these were not really two girls but rather a couple... The seller agreed to accept them back which I think is a very good solution for the birds. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to "test-drive" geese without them being worse off for it.

I also prefer the ducks' character more. They are peaceful anarchists whereas geese are bossy. So I believe in the future any expansion we do will simply be with more ducks.

The bushes are really, really full this year - a year when most of the "regular" fruit is, due to weather being super creative, doing very poorly with the exception of figs (??). I just picked cca 8 liters / 2 gallons and have nothing to show for it, the bushes look about the same as before. Providing for wild birds' winter food!

Peacocks have the ability to fly away so are quite safe. I've seen alot here, but they could be the same lizards I keep seeing

We have lizards but they are small, seeing something like that if I walked out the back door would be a bit unnerving to say the least. Are they dangerous?

They can be. They can move so fast! I don't mind watching them throught the safety of a window but. This particular one is called a lace monitor, most common around here.
