Regarding our miniature WH duckling that's half the length and width of the others...

The breeder we got the eggs from is telling me it's a metabolic problem brought on most likely by an intestinal infection and recommends a round of antibiotic (Amoxicillin or something similarly wide-spectrum).

Has anyone had an experience like that?

Well for ducks I would advise smz/tmz which is bactrim. But I don't feel an infection is your problem.

Look like only 2 weeks maybe 3. No real feathers yet. Don’t let them get too cold. They should have access to some heat after swimming.

They look around a couple of weeks old to me. Mine is a month old now and almost halfway feathered out.
