im sorry to say possums very rarely kill more than one or 2 birds
i guarantee you that this is a fox

A fox?? Well there is foxes here I just never have seen them. Not sure if it was a fox the whole time because when whatever it was attached my rhode island's it messed up 1 of them pretty bad so I put him in my big coop with another roo and his hens. I got the other 1 (which wasn't badly hurt just a few feathers missing) and put him on a high branch on a tree. I didn't think it would be back but it came back and took my Rir off the tree and almost killed it but I ran outside again and scared it off. This was very late at night so it was definitely nocturnal.

thats also a high possibility both with massacre a flock
possums useally come each night or every other taking one until it wipes i out

thank you! I am so sorry. Bandit was my most favorite rooster. He didn't mind me picking him up at all. I dont know why they have to kill the favorites or hens first
