We purchased a set of pullers (or so we were told) from the local feed and seed, and I believe they come from Hoover’s hatchery. We believe that the store advertised these as Starlight Green Eggers, which seem to have quite a color variation, but I haven’t seen many with these colors. The attendant also said she looked similar to a golden comet, but we haven’t seen any of the golden colors of the comet or the SGE. Also, concerned that at nearly 5 wks the comb size and color/development of wattles seem to indicate possibly a roo instead of a pullet. Thoughts? (Attaching various pics, most recent today of my son holding her/him and others over the past 2-2.5 wks). Should we still wait and see?

It's a male.

I think it's a Delaware, because a Golden Comet would not have the black bits in the feathers.

(Golden Comets are named for the color of the female. The males are colored differently: pale yellow down, white feathers at first, and they get some red in certain places as they finish growing up. The difference is caused by a clever breeding strategy, and allows them to be sexed by color.)

Thank you so much for the additional detail. This is very helpful!

Updated photos since original post. Otis the (definite) rooster is somewhere around 10 -11 weeks. Someone mentioned in a previous comment possibly he is a Delaware. From what I’ve seen, he does look similar but is just now beginning to get some of his adult saddle/tail feathers so I’m still unsure. Any additional thoughts on breed?
