I only want a similar breed to Easter Eggers like in size I don’t like too big of a size but not that small were they can fly sky highNo~one can tell you what breed of chicken you should get. Whatever you get you should expect some disruption while the girls sort out their pecking order. It's not the size of the chicken, it's the size of the fight in the chicken. One of my top girls is an Australorp bantam. No~one pushes that girl around! Bear in mind, as a generalisation, many of the larger standard breeds are dominant breeds: BAs, BRs, Wyandottes ~ & will generally be @ the top of the pecking order in a mixed flock. I've kept them all, loved their personalities but found they generally get on better with people than different chicken breeds. Nothing wrong with that unless you can't handle the inevitable squabbling while they sort things out.
