My boy just turned 2. He was 65lbs at last vet visit. He’s really tall too. Standing on all fours he’s 3.5 feet ish. I may get some hate for it, but he eats everything. Dog food, table scraps..I’ve seen this lunatic eat the chickens meal worms! I’m fortunate I’ve got about 2 acres all fenced in, he can burn off some energy and FOOD. He does really well with the chickens too. (He was raised with them though).

Edit to add: oh that doggy stare down! Coonhounds have that down to an art!

Mine would probably eat the entire bag of food if I let him after his neuter two years ago, he gained a lot of weight because his appetite increased a ton and I was accidentally letting him eat as much as he wanted for a bit I did stop that after not too long but the damage was already done. I cut him back some but not enough. And then I finally cut back on his food majorly recently and have actually stuck to it (I’ve tried cutting back before and not stuck to it lol) and we walk every day now and I think he’s losing weight. But yeah. I need to cut back the people food and treats next. I’ve actually been A LOT better about that lately LOL but still. He’s about 75 lbs at least he was last year. We will see what he is when he goes this year which he will very soon. The weird thing though is he won’t like dance or spin circles or anything like he doesn’t ACT excited or super hungry but he will sniff his bowl and/or the food bag and/or stare at me LOL

LOL that’s wild. And I actually don’t anymore. I used to but we moved a few years ago and I had to get rid of them. but when we did have them, he was good around them.
