What kind of pellet gun for squirrels?

I bought a Benjamin 397 Pump Pellet Gun (USA) .177 Calber, 800 fps with Crosman Destroyer (hollow point) pellets, squirrels do not have a chance...

Gamo makes great rifles too, I think they are single pump action with up to 1200fps, but they are pricier than the made in China Walmart stuff.

If my neighbors wouldn't feed the squirrels so much, there wouldn't be nearly as many as there are anyway. I'm simply having to respond to an unnatural situation created by my neighbors feeding the squirrels. To the OP I say, don't feel bad about doing what's necessary to keep your home free of pests.

I'll vouch for the .22 Shorts - good for squirrels, but not much else. If I'm not mistaken, though, they need to be loaded directly into the chamber. Still, they're REALLY quiet.
