Are you in the US? I know a breeder doing self blue Ameraucana bantams, they are CUTE!!!!! They sell hatching eggs, I can pm you the info if you'd like, they should be getting accepted into the ABA this year!I ordered some easter eggers from Meyer for spring. Still debating whether to switch my order to bantam easter eggers. Bantams are smaller, so I can keep MOAR, but the chicks are more expensive. If anyone has experience with bantam EEs, please help me justify the price
Awhile back, @fluffycrow suggested the Ko Shamo to me. I researched and fell in love! Iād really like to acquire hatching eggs in the Spring.

I hatched some eggs fertilized by an 8 mo old cockerel. As long as he's doing his part and the eggs are fertile there won't be an issue.Iāll be starting incubating in about 2 weeks. I had a good average last year so Iām going to try it again this year. I hope my Rooster is not to young he will be a year old March can anyone shed some light on this? Iāve never used a Rooster this young before any help is welcome. Thanks
Thank you! Youāve got an exciting plan for this year! Even though Lady Gagaās chicks arenāt pure Serama, Iām sure theyāre beautiful. Some of my Serama hybrids are unusual and very pretty. You mightāve seen my little pullet, Evvie. Sheās Serama/Mille Fleur dāUccle, and sheās quite unusual.Again, good luck! I have a feeling they're going to be absolutely amazing for you! Yay, some serama hatches as well! They are the best, after all! Yes, planning on quite a few chicks, 20-30 to be exact! Lady Gaga has already fathered some birds, but they are not pure. His offspring are promising, showing quite an upright stance despite their mix. I just need a couple more Tsouloufates, not as many as the serama, not anything close to that. Just enough to keep the egg numbers up, and to give me some freedom to be more selective in my breeding choices
You could ask them if they'd order them for you. I suppose it depends on which hatchery they go through, but our feed store had a laundry list long of breeds we could order above their usual ones.We are going to purchase our chicks from a feed supply store, same as last year. They don't know what they are getting until the chicks are delivered, though. I hope they get in some silkies, which I have not had before. Also a French Black Copper Maran (I love those dark eggs!)
If I could choose one special breed, probably a Gold Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben. I doubt the feed store will get those, though
