Both Pumpkin and Spice are definitely pullets!
Crazy bc pumpkin is so protective and guards the outside of my 3 seasons room door bc my cats are inside staring at them through the curtains. Lol. Currently my coop is being worked on (the roof is leaking) so I have 17 chickens in my 3 seasons room. I think I’m going to die from DE in my lungs uh!

I agree.

And based on the appearance, they might be part Rhode Island Red (or part New Hampshire, or part Production Red, or something else with more-or-less that coloring.)
I will attach pictures of my 2 brown elder hens and maybe you can tell me. I will also include the 4th elder hen who passed this summer. She had babies so all of my chicks I hatch are family. I don’t select breed except for my quail and I only do that for colors. Also attaching my previous brown baby girl that passed this summer. They are just getting old. Since her genetics have been passed down to some grandkids. Let me know what you think they are! I feel like I got a RIR, Golden Comet and others but idk. It was my first time having chickens and didn’t write all the info down from the farm store. Some pics are from recent, some from when they were almost a year old and one pic of my son holding his favorite as a chick. The darkest one has passed. Her name was Brownie. The be with more white markings is Snowflake and the one that’s mainly just tan/golden is Crimson and she is who my son is holding as a chick. However every time I showed my brown chickens to people they always said that they are not RIR bc they don’t look like theirs. But I have to say just like people chickens don’t look identical either!

And this is the first rooster I had which is related to every single one of these chickens genetically. He is the dad, grandpa, uncle, etc to all of these besides the 3 browns I’m trying to identify.

Rhode Island Reds are always a red/brown color with a black tail. New Hampshires are the same, except that they tend to be a slightly lighter red. Production Reds can be any shade of red, still with a black tail.

A red chicken with white tail and white markings around the neck, if bought from a store or hatchery, is almost always a red sexlink (ISA Brown, Golden Comet, or something of the sort.) They usually have a Rhode Island Red father, so they have a chance of giving their chicks pretty much the same genes that a Rhode Island Red would give.

I do not see any Rhode Island Reds in those photos. I see some red sexlinks.

I see one that looks gold or light red and appears to have white barring across the feathers (color too light to be Rhode Island Red, and if she does have white barring that is definitely wrong for a Rhode Island Red.) I think she's also got white feet. If she does not have white barring, she might be a Buff Orpington (gold color, white feet). Otherwise, she is some kind of hatchery mix.

The red sexlinks definitely have Rhode Island Red in their ancestry, but are not themselves Rhode Island Reds.
