Nice conversion. Can you add some details about the measurements, how you made the window, and such?

Nice and spacious. I love the built-in brooder and the fact that you updated it as you made alterations to suit your flock's needs.

This is intriguing. Could you add photos of the build and of the incubator in use?

Looks wonderfully sturdy. I expect that people who can't weld could copy the idea in wood with a little extra bracing.

Yep! We just used the steel because our climate is so wet. Didn't want to have to rebuild it in a couple years when the wood started to rot. ;0)

Useful information.

Could you add photos of the setup you move the broody too and how you manage closing her in the nest?

So much ventilation and so many thoughtful design details! Love those top-hinged window covers.

I can't give a 5-star to an article without plans, but I think that an experienced handyman would be able to duplicate it given the many clear photos. :)

Good explanation of how to get organized. The timing info on the scaling pot is particularly useful.

Great idea.

Do you have more photos/explanation of how, exactly, you install the fitting?

Nice use of pallets. That chicken wire, however, is not predator proof and should be replaced with hardware cloth.

Can you add plans and more explanation of how you worked with the pallets to help people duplicate it?

Thanks! We didn't use plans. We just took pallets and cut them apart and used them for the walls. We framed the whole coop with 2x4s. We used pallet pieces for siding on one part of the coop. I will see if I can put together something that other people can use.

Excellent coop. I love the many thoughtful features and the way you documented it's evolution. But I can't give a 5-star rating without plans. :)

A well-ventilated coop and good build photos. Clever use of reclaimed materials too. But I can't give a 5-star without plans.

Plans? Dimensions? Build process?

The tractors look so useful but would be very difficult to duplicate without a lot more information. :(
