An excellent summary about the pro's and the con's of keeping peafowl. Great link-collection.
Helped me to decide not to keep peafowl in the forseeable future.

This is a nice short summary of the duties of a poultry keeper. Could be enhanced by adding some brief "how-to's".

I love the idea of converting an old TV stand into a peeper's TV!
But your article will need more details, like what exactly did you change in the TV-Stand, how did you install the egg-turner, … And of course some cute pictures of little birsd you have actually hatched in there!

Nice coop and nice run. The run looks almost bear-proof!
A little more details about the built itself, where the material came from - some wood looks reclaimed? - and what challenges you faced.

I like the pictures of the shed, the size is great, also it is tall enough to walk-in, but…
Where's the article? - Please a bit more details what you have changed and how you did it.
An article worth to be bookmarked.

Clear and easy to understand instructions how to calibrate your hygrometer, how the air-cell in an egg should look like and how the conditions in the 'bator should be. - Looking forward to hatch some ducklings next year and i will definitely refer back to this article.

Fantastic job! You took some scrap that other's would have thrown on the dump and built a beautiful chicken-coop out of that. And you took a lot of pictures during the built and invested the time to write this article. Thank you very much for that!

Thank you very much for describing this with many details. The plywood screw plates are a great idea, hardware is way too expensive.

Very good research and very good references to sources and a very good conclusion of how this myth came to life. Excellent article!
When i was a kid, all the neighbors were doing their mail-ordering through my mom and everybody saved. So excellent idea to revive this good ol' tradition to order some good quality but "cheep" ducklings.

Thank you so much for writing this article! I need something to protect the wooden floor in my duck-house and i thought that Rubber-Coating would be fine. Unfortunately it takes too much time to harden, so i must find something else.

»How do these chicken farmers actually move those chicken tractors without crushing their chickens?« - Now i know that, sadly, accidents do happen when a chicken tractor is being moved.
This article suggests a set of good rules how to avoid those unwanted deaths and injuries. Well written and many pictures, a very good »lessons learned«.

Not much to say about this article. A must read before your chicks or 'lings start to hatch.
Lot's and lot's of pictures and very detailed instructions. I feel confident(er) to assist when i start hatching my own ducklings.
Appropriately named "palace"! This is a chicken palace.
Well constructed and sturdy material was used, many pictures showing the thought-through details.
Well done!

Thank you for the review. I recycled not only the trailer, but also all the dimensional lumber, tar paper, and shingles. Got rid of a lot of things piled up behind the garage for years. I needed a mobile coop because I have to move it closer to the house for winter. Built it by myself, with limited experience and skills, based on reviewing YouTube videos almost every step of the way.
