My eggs were officially set yesterday (10th) around 1pm. Hatch a batch app is set to start counting today. Made their first hand turn this morning.
I’m incubating in my usual homemade coolerbater. Dry run (humidity runs at 30% even then) hand turning 5x a day.
Not holding my breath as I’m...
Well, I got 1 out of the 2. And 3 out of the next 4. The chicks who didn’t make it were malpositioned but my number of those went way down considering I’ve been having ALL malpositions for some reason the last few hatches. So, I’m happy. I have 4 more of my planned due to hatch this week coming...

The update y’all have been waiting for! Or not haha
Been very sick and very busy.. the two chicks due last weekend BOTH DIS AGAIN! Fully formed, absorbed and malpositioned... again... with 3 other staggered hatches I was about to just throw the whole damn incubator in the trash and just give...

From everything I see from members about shipped eggs it is advisable to not turn until day 3. And YES on pointy end down. Never put an egg intended for hatching narrow side up. Great luck to you!
