I think vegetarians are quite tasty, especially the 4 legged ones.
I don't mind vegetarians except the ones who have a holier than thou attitude about it. With some it's become a religion unto itself.
The spiciness doesn't vary much, but there are some differences in how it's made from one region to another. There's quite a bit of difference in spiciness just from one batch to the next.
My wife still cooks like that. She's from Korea so she makes kimchi and bulgogi from scratch. Several of our friends and relatives have begged for her recipes, but she just does it by why she knows will taste good. That's how she learned it from her mom.
At one time I had 80 cookbooks. I still have more than I care to count, plus a binder I put together of recipes I downloaded. I also have a handwritten cookbook by a great aunt.
Here's my breakfast sausage recipe. You can adjust the herbs and spices to your liking. To make it a sage sausage, you would add more sage. http://www.siloutdoors.com/showthread.php?13095-Indiana-Farm-Sausage
An article in Field and Stream pointed out that if an individual had done that instead of the government they would have had to pay a hefty fine for wanton waste.
It was 1600 pounds. Here's one of the news articles about it. I was surprised to see this happen in Louisiana. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/02/25/la-authorities-force-homeless-rescue-mission-to-destroy-8k-of-deer-meat/
I don't know any place like that. Too bad, too. My aunt raises chickens on a much larger scale than my wife and I do. Whenever she gets roosters they end up feeding her family. She buys from others in the area that end up with roosters too. At least they aren't getting dumped in the trash.
His "friends" are all taking up a collection to buy him a one-way ticket so they can stop listening to his sniveling. I'm a tech geek but still felt comfortable last weekend with absolutely no cell phone or internet connectivity. I also forage for wild mushrooms and catch my own fish. I'd most...
Now that's funny. We've noticed more wild birds hanging around. As I entered the chicken coop one day a dove flew out and almost hit my head. We have a shed with the sliding doors left partway open for a chicken coop and the dove was enjoying an easy meal.
I haven't had snow on the sleeping bags, but I do sometimes camp out when deer hunting. I've found that in my canvas wall tent, when it's in the 30s with a 35mph wind off the lake, my catalytic heater doesn't stand a chance. Since I'm camping by myself and both leaving camp before sunrise and...
The mosquito is our state bird. A tent keeps them out for the most part. The last time we were camping in a tent we had a forecast of isolated thunderstorms. Well that isolated thunderstorm stayed over us all night with high winds that blew the rain under the rain tarp. We had over 2" of water...
My wife's idea of camping is a cabin, but she has gone tent camping with me several times. That was how we vacationed as kids, though we did use a popup camper when camping with Mom and Dad.
