@ronott1 the sourdough bread turned out good It was all gone in 2 days, I would love it to have some more sour flavor, Maybe next time I will remove the starter from the fridge 2 or 3 days before, feed it daily then use it and compare.
@ronott1 Question here about sourdough, I'll be travelling for 7 weeks and will not have someone to feed my starter, how do I store it to ensure doesn't die?

It was the one on post #37 but with a few changes I used both baking soda and baking powder, I think she may have omitted when typing and I used less sugar as we prefer less sweet cakes. I will be trying out the one on post #40 next as I still have lots of carrots and see the taste difference.
Today I baked wholewheat sourdough dinner rolls and Walnut Oatmeal wheat bread. They both turned out good.. Next I need to try carrot cake I have a little too many carrots in the fridge.
I just took the Alaskan sourdough bread out of the oven and I love it. It's even better than the rolls, the crust is so crunchy!!! Thanks again for the starter
