I've heard that even if those ilnesses go away they could be carriwra and infect other birds. So... Ugh!!
Respitory... The Roo and a hen or 2 have come down with heavy breathing and the roo's one eye is swollen shut and goop was coming out. It's gotten better but... All the diseases I've seen that cause that scare the crap out of me!! Sure don't want carriers of whatever it is. :/.

The roo is missing his beard but you can see where it was there and black, The pic of the roo is horrendous so I will try again...
Last night I picked up 15 year old Salmon Faverolles! Super excited!! They are considered heritage so once I get pics, I'll be looking for guidance to get them up to true standard. :)
Oh ha! I really just meant in general! But my that's awesome info about yours!! I'm just thinking for adding to what I get from this hatch I will be asking the breeders about temperment. That way I can help keep the docility in the breed too!!
That would be a pity for sure!! I have eggs in the bator and hope to get at least a trio out of them! And a mean roo would not do! I had a mean roo once but it was a mutt.
