Bob eggs - 2 things that's so pronounced from my gals!

Who washes their eggs before incubating?
How many of you wash poop off of your eggs (in warm water with a dab of bleach.....or such) before setting? If you do wash with successful hatches, what's your process? I'm finding a fairly even split on opinions!- _Randall_

Leg bands on just-hatched quail?
Is it permissible to put leg bands on day-old quail? It would be the tiny colored zip ties you get at wally world..............and put on loose enough of course, with the tag end cut even with the clinch. -
Mite Problem!!
