I can handle the heat and strong sunshine -as long as there is no humidity. As hot as we get, it still cools off most nights so it's easier to deal with.

Thanks. Can't remember what threads I shared it on, but my father had to have emergency surgery and ended up with his left leg amputated due to loss of blood flow. It's permanent. :(

He was transferred to a rehab hospital yesterday. Seems to be adjusting OK, I'll go see him after I finish work. Thanks for asking, Sour.

I think there are some ticks in the brush and up in the forest, but have never seen one on me, or the dogs, even when hiking. Flock stays in the run or they'd be coyote food. No help on keeping bugs out of the yard.

Eww. So glad we don't have ticks in the yard. Mosquitoes have been bad though, since the river is very high this spring and sections of the Bosque are flooded. The trees need the soaking though, so I'm not complaining.
