    Thanks for all the compliments on my birds... I do love alot of the colors I've produced here on my acreage..and I've grown fond of several of the girls. Sadly though, we may be moving..not sure yet....but, it breaks my heart to think of rehoming all my work and all the ones I've grown to adore...

    took some more pictures today..finally got some pics of my youngest EE gal, I had to keep this one too from all my hatches this spring/summer, I am trying to keep all the bold color girls...and I do like this gal, she's very quiet and calm, I think I am going to call her Waffles, not sure...

    I love how this EE bird is becoming so popular..... multi colors are in this year, yay. I remember back when I first joined, the EE, was less discussed on here and in the market here in Canada. Now it seems the mixed breed mutt bird, is in high demand. I have no problems selling my EE's, people...

    Well, its' been a long long time since I've posted, been a crazy summer and fall etc. Here is my newest roo, I hatched him this May in my incubator, I decided to keep this one, as I've wanted a blue guy, he is gorgeous, sadly, he's really eager to crow nonstop...hopefully, he doesn't carry on...

    busy busy at my house. just hatched some more babies in the incubator. 36 hatched out of 42 . #37 died after hatching. #38 died with beak stuck out of a small hole. Only 4 eggs were duds. I had to hatch 8 myself out of the 36, as they were glued inside their shells. Sticky chicks. TOok...

    ummmmm, I've made the exception to the rules possible again. I have a broody EE pullet. Fingers crossed she snaps out of it, I already have two broodys setting, and an incubator full of EE eggs. No more !!! haha.

    my babies are so cute. I was successful with my first time incubator experience, 36 hatched out of 40, 35 happy chicks now in the brooder - 3 and 4 days old now. one chick died immediately on hatching, but, was fully formed, so no outer issues, not sure what happened. in no particular hatching...

    thankyou, I am up to 13 babies now, I had 3 hatch in about 10 minutes, was a proud mama me moment. haha
