Well, that's one. LOL. In all my reading on this thread, I see so many cockerel-heavy hatches, I was beginning to wonder if it was just an Icelandic trait, the only one that was the same across the board!

I think most would say they are small to medium, but I'm not the Icelandic expert. Most small bodied birds do not lay a large egg, though there are exceptions like the Leghorn.
