Wild birds can transmit diseases through their feces. Also if they may have a respiratory disease they can spread that to penned birds. Not trying to argue or anything but I am genuinely curious how they can give them diseases if they don’t have contact with them?? I’m talking strictly like penned/cooped poultry, no contact with wild birds or stuff they touched. Not necessarily with the wild birds themselves.
Aw that’s sad.
Very true. I don’t let Luna out anymore in the spring cause I don’t want her eating baby animals.
I don’t think she even hunts anymore and she’s never brought any home but I’m not chancing it.
Though I also just don’t let her out in general anymore, not just spring, but still.
I had, key word had a mocking bird that would nest on top of one of my pens. I have had the birds in that pen get gape worms from that stupid mocking bird.
