Thank you...I am happy to be here. I think I will be able to get stocked up on some supplies and things when I get back from the trip (pics will be posted as well) Since well, quite honestly the crochet thing is currently giving me fits, I definitely will do bibs. I hope it is ok if they are the premade form bibs that you can cross-stitch something cute onto. I have to warn you all though, I am SSLLLOOOOWWWW!

Bibs are a great idea. We currently use washcloths, LOL

bibs it will be then.

I just had a brainstorm on how to keep the cost down a little bit too, so hopefully, there will be some creative designs coming your way in the relatively near future. I suspect this will be somewhat of a fall/winter project. I got the crochet thing down too...shhhh...I don't want to scare away whatever it was that finally helped it click for me...

I am looking forward to being a part of a beautiful cause.

I haven't forgotten about the bibs, but I haven't been able to find any of the premade aida bibs, so I am going to attempt to make my own...which will take a lot longer. Sorry for the delay.
Congrats SE on that gorgeous blanket! So sweet!
edited to add: I will most likely crochet bibs someday... since I can do that actually faster than cross stitch though I am still slow as molasses....

Hi all!
I stumbled on this forum, looking for the recipe one.

I seen the very CUTE picture of your puppy SE & had to stop by & say cute!! Is that one a standard size dauschound? Mine is & part pug, but she is so small; I think a squirrel is bigger!!

Had to say cute baby too & love the blanket SE!!

I found this thread due to the bump...thanks.

If you are looking for a to go project that requires no looking, counting,pattern.etc. do 7X7 granny squares for Warm Up America. I cannot tell you how many granny squares you can pump out while you are at your sons ballgame, lol. It also draws interest and hooks others. The best part...you just mail off the squares to the organization and they put them together and edge them! I finish mine, but it's not required, plus if you only do 10-15 squares and get bored, no problem cause they finish the project.
Lastly, if you don't want to pay for shipping, give the blanket to a women's shelter nearby.

LOL!! She is the very sweetest dog in the world! Her nature is just so loving. She has longer legs than my fat miniature but she is smaller in other ways, she is a mixture of standard and mini. I laugh over the picture of her wearing a sock sometimes, she was soooo tiny!!! Normally I am a dachshund sandwich at night with one on each side of me under the covers! My DH gets the kitten, he likes to snuggle with him. Yes, we love our animals!

SE tell the truth you were not saying such nice things about that pup when it chewed your picture cord and card LOL. Couldn't help it.

I am here snuggling up to 6 Chihuahua's pups 4 1/2 weeks old.
