YES, I got the blankie. I work Monday night, and I'll bring it and take some pics. I haven't opened the box yet, we were out all day, so I'll open it tomorrow, it'll be like a holiday, LOL. Thankyou!!!!!! Karen

I hope she got yours too Jacie! It'll be like overload in your unit!! Can you imagine those babies getting a bit older and dragging your work around as their security woobie?!!!!!!! Is that the sweetest thought ever? My daughter's woobie is thread bear thin and in a plastic bag in the cedar chest it even has a patch or two on it to cover the holes in it!! One of both of our prized possessions, not handmade, out of that long-handle underwear material, but loved just the same! She also had "Magic Bear" a nice Gund bear that she had almost from birth and he was quite loved on too, he kept the bad dreams away, I told her when she like 2 that if she hugged onto him at night he was magic and would keep the bad dreams away and she always called him magic bear after that, he has a place of honor in her room still. DS was rougher on blankies so he had a couple but a white monkey was the only thing he ever attached to like she did for carrying around and then he was pretty much onto other things about age 2..monkey is in the cedar chest though. Sooooo, yes, these blankies/woobies might be som little's kids security hug...sure hope so anyway!!!!

I will try to get what I have finished off this week too and then work on some things for the holidays for those babies. Sem....do you have a children's cancer unit in your hospital? I have a couple of chemo caps but can send those to the Project Linus folks if you can't find a use for them at your hospital?

Jennette, that blanket is too cute for words!!! I can't wait to bring it to work and take pics of the lucky babe. Thankyou so much. I never thought of making blankies out of flannel with chenille. Maybe it will inspire me to pull out my machine again.
Jacie, didn't get yours yet, hopefully Monday. I don't know what's with the mail system. I will let you know.

Darlene, we don't have a cancer ward. This is a very small hospital 40 minutes out of Tampa. We are the only OB and Nicu in the county.
I think the burp rags are a great idea, Jennette. Oh and your blankie is a beautiful size.

Thanks for letting me know Sem. I'll find the local Project Linus chapter and send them all off in that direction. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of my preemie stuff tonight and get that posted either tonight or tomorrow night and get my stuff in the mail to you too...getting excited about all the stuff folks are sending you!!! How wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about booties? I did find a sweet pattern for those, are they needed? Thank you for helping us out Sem...really appreciate it
