Chickens under 2 months dropping like flys,no noticeable symptoms

Chickens don't get the same kind of giardia as cats or a dogs. This is not a widely understood concept even by veterinarians, and pets are blamed for the infections of a lot of others species.
I think the assumption is if the conditions are right to give the cats Guardia, the chickens may contract it as well (be it a desperate strain or the same). It is raining here for a week straight, raining right now actually. The ground is mud 3 inches deep or better. I can't even let the goats or dog out because they get stuck. It's like that swamp scene in Never-ending Story over here:hmm And they all crap in the puddles and drink it, bleh. Not sure how the ones in the indoor broader caught whatever it is. But as I mentioned, I did make the mistake of letting some outside during a few hours of sun we had

I'm sorry you lost so many, how terribly sad. You clearly have an infectious disease, so I am glad you are having diagnostics done.

For what it's worth, if you live in the US I would be happy to test fresh fecal samples for parasites for you for free.

There is no catch, I am a veterinary parasitology student.

Iowa.

Can you take a video of some of your chicks and upload it to YouTube, I'd like to see how they are acting.
I could try but with the weather and metal roof my connection isn't good. They are acting like baby chicks always do. Then within an hours time, they become sleepy and lay down and then die. As they die they become limp and floppy and do not respond to much. Sometimes they'll peep or open their eyes but not always. The one in my shirt and the other are dead already.

I'm sorry.
Are you going to overnite them to the lab today? Tomorrow?

I'm gonna get off here for a bit and move them. I've cleaned out a big pen in the barn, bleached and aired it, limed it and put down about 3 inches of straw. I put a clean tote with a large heat panel in. I'm also adding a heat lamp, which is a no-no in my barn but desperate times and all that. This way they DEFINITELY have clean, warm and meds to the best of my ability. Idk what else to do until the test comes back. I'm sure they will all be dead by the time it does.
