What kind of lime are you using? You're not using Hydrated Lime are you?
I'm betting you use ag lime/barn lime.

I posted a video earlier in the thread. The new arrivals were in a indoor 6x2x2 stock tank, chicks large enough to bully others were in a indoor A-frame that's about 5×3×2, the largest birds (grow outs 3 months or so and under) were in a 10x10 foot indoor pen. That's where all the survivors are now is the 10x10 pen in the video. It was completely cleaned out including the food and water fixtures and a heat plate and heat lamp are in there now. The center of the area stays around 85 as of 12am last night, directly under the lamp is 99

The ag vet the next town over was called and they differed judgement to the university. Those results are due back "hopefully by the end of the day." There are currently only 4 chicks left from Gold Feather. They were very dismissive of my questioning and said the chicks they sent "could've picked something up in the mail". They claim they've had no other complaints, but I'm growing very suspicious of them.

Considering the forms of transmition, ages of chicks affected, symptoms and sudden death I refer you to this site about Chicken Infectious Anemia (CIA)
It suspiciously matches almost every symptom and variable. Since it is spread both vertically and horizontally I would not be surprised if it was brought in from Goldfeather Farm's stock. And since they are a hatchery they likely would not have seen any of the effects.
